Dugouts in Kurkino. Part 3

in WORLD OF XPILAR3 days ago

Since the autumn of 2023, I have been waiting for the moment when I will finish to capture the vegetable storages I missed in Kurkino. Then there were so many of them that I simply did not have time to capture all the locations. Well, I simply couldn't get to one of the locations because of the pitch darkness.

At the first location, the dugouts are square, which I haven't really liked lately.

This year I prefer to hunt for triangular ones more.

But if you are honest, then you need to love all types of dugouts, as they all deserve attention.

All the dugouts in Kurkino stand on the banks of the Spasskaya River near the pond.

I didn't get to the second location last year because of an inaccurate study of the map.

But in vain. Only a few structures are visible from the satellite, but everything turned out to be more interesting in person.

The rest of the dugouts hid in the gloomy dense forest.

Due to the dense vegetation, they are not visible on the map at all.

The dugouts here are located chaotically.

Triangular roofs mixed with flat ones.

There are a lot of abandoned ones.

But almost everywhere the grass is mowed down, which means people come here and store crops.

I have never seen such a thing, so that the cellars were located right between the trunks of tall fir trees.

I was very scared by a bumblebee that woke up somewhere in the grass and flew right over my head.

Sorry, bumblebee, for waking you up. We were both scared of each other!

It buzzed a little more and went quiet.

And I was scared because in the districts and towns, local residents often began to meet bears walking around residential areas.

I listened to every sound. And there were many sounds: something rustled in the grass, something crackled in the forest thicket.

And, as usual, my familiar beaver friend was nervous again, scaring me off with his flopping.

Last year, driving me away from his house, he sprayed me with water from head to toe.

This year I didn't go near the water – the location was on a small hill a little further from the shore of the pond.

I think I've chosen the right time to shoot. I still had to light up the sheds with a flashlight, and if it was autumn, it would be even darker.

In general, Kurkino is a magical place. Both the village itself is good, and the presence of a huge number of dugouts, and, accordingly, impressions from them, still continues to please.
