It's human nature to get bored of stuff and people in some time. But, I view it from a slight different perspective. I don't think a person gets bored from a hobby or a person over time because they want something new, well it's not always the case but boredom and stability are directly proportional. When you're comfortable around or with something, you'll get bored of it in time. If we specifically talk about games or activities, I started playing fifa back in 2013. The first fifa I played was Fifa 14 on my playstation 3. It's been 11 years and I still play the game. Infact, every Saturday night is my boys night out and we play fifa till the sun rises. I wonder, now, why didn't I get bored of Fifa?
Thank youuu for reminding me of Metal slug. I had been trying SO HARD to remember this game and now all the nostalgic memories kicked back in. I remember us being absolutely addicted to this game.

My focus was on why we stop doing certain things. I think there can be multiple reasons for that differing from person to person depending on their circumstances. Some get bored either because they find better things to do or simply because there's nothing new. But sometimes life gets in the way and you stop doing certain things but you would love to be able to do those again.
