What time do you think it is in this picture? 8 pm? 9 pm? 11 pm? I'll let you have your guesses.

My brother is traveling back to England tomorrow and he's been insisting on trying the most famous cashew nut milkshake in Karachi. We weren't able to take out time to actually go but yesterday at around 12 am he texted this on the family group:

Want to get Kaaju shake?

Yes

Get ready, I'm coming

This post isn't just about the Kaju shake, although it was one of the best I've ever had. It's about the nightlife in Karachi, the largest city in Pakistan. When I took this picture, it was 2 a.m., but you wouldn't know it by looking at it. Trust me, this city never sleeps. How could it? Karachi is the economic heartbeat of Pakistan. According to the latest financial report from the Government of Pakistan, more than a million dollars of business is conducted daily on just one of Karachi's busiest streets. Imagine that—over a million dollars in a single day on a single street.

Now, let's try to digest what really makes Karachi so unique. This city, with its relentless energy and vibrant spirit, stands as a testament to the dynamic and unstoppable nature. The streets, even in the dead of night, keep on making business. The sheer volume of business transactions occurring here reflects not only the entrepreneurial spirit of its people but also the strategic importance of Karachi in the national economy.

The nightlife in Karachi is a world of its own. At 2 am, while most cities are winding down, Karachi is just getting started. The restaurants are open, street vendors are busy, and people are out and about, enjoying the cool night air. We were a part of those people who come out at night in Karachi to enjoy the unique nightlife here.

Take a look at this picture. It's 2 a.m., yet people are sitting and enjoying cups of tea. The streets are bustling with activity. At this moment, there are at least a hundred cars on the road, numerous families out and about, and even car and bike mechanics hard at work. When you think about it, there is likely at least $20,000 worth of business happening right now. Shops are open and selling their goods, families are spending money, and even car window cleaners are earning a little by cleaning mirrors. We were among those spending money, buying these delicious Kaju shakes for just $1 each.

That’s really cool.. we have a place like that in Nigeria and the state is lagos. The only challenge we have there is that since the place is the commercial hub of the country and have a very large seaport, it seems the whole Nigerians wants to relocate there and do business or get job . As a result of this, the traffic jam there is out of this world. You can be in a spot with your car for 3 hrs you haven’t moved an inch.. that’s how bad it is..

Karachi is one of the biggest ports in Asia as well. I understand what you're saying. The traffic jam is unbearable
