For months, they explored this world, studying its life and culture. They even managed to establish peaceful relations with the alien beings inhabiting the planet.

Wouldn't it be nice if more people in our world and society lived with such an open-minded approach to things and people.

what if this discovery is made known to their world and actually attracts greedy individuals with massive power and environmental destroyers who want to take profit from the new resources owned by this new world and create destruction.

Well, that sounds more familiar, lol (sadly)
