Sapphire blue to an indigo hue
A rainbow of the cerulean
Puffed white clouds band through
Will the weather become, turn diluvian
A fighter plane scout flies in between
The breathtaking sky above so clean
The ever so green peaks and meadows
Searching for hidden enemies unseen
Amongst the draws of mountain's shallows
Lurking to ambush a convoy passing
As it moves through the wide valley
"All clear below, nothing harassing"
The convoy continues through the pass
Into the wide, broad, and natural alley
While the plants call for moisture to fall
Yearn to drink of drops from on high
To grace the slopes and flats and all that live
With life giving water from the sky
