Happy Caturday: orange cats taking afternoon nap.

My two orange cats like to sleep on the table by the East window. The morning sunshine has warmed the whole area that’s probably why my cats like that corner very much.

These two cats are very timid and shy; they always hide whenever visitors enter the house. These cats don’t know how to fight as we rarely had any stranger cats or stray cats dropping by. Our house is a bit far away from the village. But stray dogs sometimes came into the garden. Then my cats would be running to hide or climbing up the trees.

I like to observe orange cats while they are asleep. They are brother and sister; they are very close and affectionate to each other. They like to sleep near to each other for warmth and security.

They have grown up a lot and have gained too much weights! They are not as active as before, they used to run around the garden a lot and loved to climb up trees everyday.

These days I have to persuade them to run around the garden and I even placed them on tree branches. I hope they would eat a bit less and do more running. But if they sleep a lot, they would have less time for eating!

How wrong I was about them. As soon as they get up, they would be walking into the kitchen looking for food in their bowl. They are very punctual about dinner time. Sometimes I was late as there was too much work in the garden.

They keep me company and entertain me from time to time. They are funny cats, especially when they are sleeping. I should measure their length one day. I have never seen cats sleeping in such strange or funny postures before. I hope they would be healthy, happy and keep me company for many years.
