This is one of those occasions where the photos don't tell the whole story.
Heavy weather? One could not tell by my pictures below.
That's true, because at the times the winds were very strong and waves higher, I was actually hiding inside the boat.
Not that I was afraid, just the camera I had with me at the time, Canon M5, isn't weather sealed so I would most definitely break it outside in these conditions.
However, in the short moments when the storm was calming down or the skipper was using the island protection from the winds, it was real pleasure to get to the top deck and enjoy it all, just and only to myself.
...and the air, Gosh, the air during storms (especially thunderstorms, with all that newly generated ozone, right) is always so fresh and clear... it felt, healing. I don't exaggerate!
Now, I guess, it's time to sink in and reflect...

The first brilliant thought that occurs to me is that I love the sea, but I prefer not to be on it when there is a storm. 😃 Generally, when there is a storm, I like to be at home and nowhere else. When I'm on vacation and it rains, and I'm usually on vacation to take pictures, it's always a pretty unpleasant experience. But of course, one can never foresee everything, nor plan it.
I think you're a bit wrong about it. Storms are beautiful by the sea, I was present to a few sea storms near the lighthouse of Ahtopol, absolutely beauty, to tell you!
Near the lighthouse, but not inside the sea at the same time, I guess. 🤔 There is a huge difference.
