The model in the photograph is my mother, and to achieve that effect I used a double exposure where in the foreground I took the photograph only in the background and then a photograph with my model in place, then through the layer mask in photoshop and using the brushes, I erased some parts of the photograph to give the sensation of "particles", also saturated the eyes a little to make them the center of attention in the photograph.
