As I described in previous posts, a still life photograph is a photographic genre where traditionally objects or a collection of inanimate objects are photographed.

In this photographic genre, unlike others, the arrangement of the elements in the graphic composition and the framing, together with the lighting, are the fundamental parameters to achieve a good image, not meaning that these parameters are not present, to a greater or lesser degree, in the rest of the genres or photographic techniques commonly used.

Although the elements usually used in still life photography are flowers, food and desktop objects, however, it is not necessarily limited only to those mentioned above.

For this new initiative by @bambuka from the World of Xpilar Community, all participants in this new invitation are asked to take or select a photograph of their own that meets the above characteristics, in addition, to express or reflect "The Voice of Time", whatever we understand about this topic.

Unfortunately, I do not have in my personal archive any photograph of an antique clock, nor do I have one at home, however, I searched for objects that could reflect the passage of time, finding this old dial telephone, a true relic considering the exponential development that telecommunications have experienced in recent decades.

In this sense, I placed it in different places of my apartment looking for the best possible natural lighting, trying to highlight all its components.

Como describí en participaciones anteriores, una fotografía de bodegón o de naturaleza muerta, conocida en inglés como "still life", es un género fotográfico donde tradicionalmente se fotografian objetos o una colección de objetos inanimados.

En este género fotográfico, a diferencia de otros, la disposición de los elementos en la composición gráfica y el encuadre, junto a la iluminación, son los parámetros fundamentales para lograr una buena imagen, no queriendo decir con esto que dichos parámetros no estén presentes, en mayor o menor grado, en el resto de los géneros o técnicas fotográficas comúnmente utilizadas.

Aunque los elementos usualmente empleados en la fotografía still life, son las flores, los alimentos y los objetos de escritorio, sin embargo, no necesariamente se limita únicamente a los anteriormente mencionados.

Para esta nueva iniciativa del compañero @bambuka de la Comunidad World of Xpilar, se nos solicita a todos los participantes en esta nueva invitación, tomar o seleccionar una fotografía propia que cumpla con las características anteriores, además, de expresar o reflejar "La Voz del Tiempo", cualquiera que sea lo que entendamos de este tema.

Desafortunadamente, no cuento en mi archivo personal con alguna fotografía de algún reloj antiguo, tampoco poseo uno en casa, sin embargo, busqué objetos que pudieran reflejarar el paso del tiempo, encontrando este viejo teléfono de discado, una verdadera reliquia considerando el exponencial desarrollo que han experimentado las telecomunicaciones en las últimas décadas.

En este sentido, lo ubiqué en distintos lugares de mi apartamento buscando la mejor iluminación natural posible, procurando resaltar todos sus componentes.

Finally, I decided to process the previous image in black and white, seeking to add more drama, besides, a monochromatic photograph seems to me more in line with the theme.

Finalmente, decidí procesar la imagen anterior en blanco y negro, buscando agregar mayor dramatismo, además, una fotografía monocromática me parece más acorde con la temática.
