Photo Contest: Post Processing #29 [ENG/ESP]
"I often think that the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day."
Vincent Van Gogh
Photo Contest: Post Processing #29 [ENG/ESP]
Night photography is a photographic genre that differs widely from what we are used to, and for that reason it is usually very attractive.
We usually think of stars or lightpainting when we talk about night photography, however, this genre actually comprises many other fields, all of them very interesting.
Photographers have the choice between using artificial lighting or using long exposure, exposing the shot for seconds, minutes or even hours to give the photosensitive film or image sensor, depending on the type of device used, enough time to capture the desired image.
For this new initiative by @bambuka from the World of Xpilar Community, all participants in this new invitation are asked to take or select a photograph of themselves that meets the parameters described above.
I must confess that the times I have tried to capture images at night, I have not done very well, obtaining quite poor results most of the times or very far from what I had in mind originally.
In this sense, I chose a photo from my personal archive that I took during a family celebration, in which it is possible to appreciate a road distributor with part of the city illuminated in the background, while the afternoon disappears in the firmament to give way to the night with a colorful twilight.
I cropped the original image, resized it and adjusted some parameters such as lighting, brightness, contrast and sharpness, to give it a greater enhancement.

Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
I like these colors of the night sky and the curved lines of the highway.
It can even be attributed to the blue hour, the sky is quite bright.
Great!
