Fireworks Photography

Fireworks photography is both fun and challenging. It can be tough to do on the fly, as being ready for the types of exposures and reactions you might need isn't easily done without a bit of preparation. I learned that anytime I am going to view a fireworks display, it will take a little bit of time to set up. Even 5 or 10 minutes can be enough to get ready. Usually I try to get a good idea of viewing angle and how long my exposures will need to be to ensure I get a balance of steaky streams from the bursts to not trying to blow out the highlights to much.
