RE: Hello dear steemians, what can be done for our platform to attract new users and investors?

Sorry, but when you touch on a topic like this, you're bound to get a long comment from me.

First, about the game. Your idea is clear and I think its implementation would lead to the effect you expect. We all see how splinterlands affects the price of Hive and are quietly envious. However, unfortunately, your idea will remain just a post. If you want to implement it, you will have to personally lead this process. If you wrote a proposal, you, as an authoritative user of the platform, would have a much higher chance of receiving funding. Then you could hire programmers to develop the game. I do not believe that anyone else will pick up this idea and undertake its implementation.

In general, having such large funds in the DAO, it is very surprising that the community does not use them in any way to progress. I understand why, because there are far more scammers who want to get these funds than those who really want to do hard and boring work. However, these funds can be our ticket to a better future for the platform.

We all need to understand that we are a community. We are small bricks in a big wall. The development of Steemit depends on each of us.

For example, if you are not a programmer, but just a blogger, you still influence the development of the platform. First, if you create quality content, you make the platform more attractive. Second, you can expand the platform's readership by sharing quality posts (not just your own) through social media. Admit it, when was the last time you shared a Steemit post on Facebook, Twitter, or Reddit?

The more readers Steemit has, the more attractive this platform will be for business. If business is interested, money will come here.

Of course, the greatest responsibility for the development of the platform rests with the witnesses. I am not sure, but it seems to me that the witnesses do not communicate much with each other and rarely come up with new initiatives. Maybe I'm wrong.

Many more must get involved, including the witnesses and steemit.inc, for such a project to become a reality.
It is not so easy to hire programmers and to apply for support from a proposal for this. Skilled programmers who will create such a game will require a larger advance payment. And you may be right that it will only be with my post and that nothing will happen. But I hope that I have planted a seed and that this may become possible in the future.
I can be an investor in such a project, but we need a manager who understands coding and can speak the language that developers do

Some witnesses talk to each other, but all witnesses are not on the so-called witness channel on discord, and unfortunately I am locked out of that channel

It's terrible that the person who really cares about the fate of the platform has been left behind. But, fortunately, you are still in the top 20.

Yes, it's a shame that I can't communicate there with them
