Welcome to the fascinating world of interesting reading! In this magazine , I try to select posts published in the last few days in our community that you might be interested in reading. Remember, every author wants to be noticed, so if you have time, visit a post you liked and leave your upvote or comment. It will be the best reward and encouragement.

Now let's see what we have this time.

Adventures on the Karakoram Highway: May 29th: From Karimabad to Khunjerab Pass – Part 1

In today's and the next travel diary (part 1 & 2), I'll be giving you a detailed insight into my trip from Karimabad to Khunjerab Pass. We'll be making stops at all the above-mentioned spots, and perhaps even a few more along the way.

Bringing New Life Into the World: A Heartfelt Night in the Operation theatre: The Miracle of Birth

This was the third day of my gynecology rotation and before this all my clinical work had been in medicine. This was my first experience in a surgical ward. Until now we had only taken histories from patients for two days. Today I had my night shift. Our clinical group has 15 students and each week, one subgroup has the night shift. Each subgroup has five students and this week, my group had the night shift.

What's with Moon and Melancholy?

I couldn't figure out what was bothering me. Maybe it was not a single thing. Multiple things thrown at once aggravated my nerves.

Stage 5 Parkinson's Disease Dementia patient at home, pre-schooler giving a hard time due to separation anxiety, social commitments, needing help round the clock but mostly handling everything alone, not being able to have much time for myself, very little sleep and respite.

Adventures on the Karakoram Highway: May 29th: From Karimabad to Khunjerab Pass – Part 2

You do remember that in the part 1 of the musings at Karimabad, I promised a visit to Khunjerab Pass? But what's all the hype about it? Well, it's not just the breathtaking scenery, but the thrill of standing at the highest paved international border in the world. The air is thin, the views are vast, and there's something surreal about being at such a remote and majestic location...

A final pre-op conversation with my father

"The future," he looked at me intently. A thousand thoughts ran through my mind at that moment. Why was he asking me this all of a sudden? Was this "the talk"?

Why, Switzerland?

"Why is Switzerland so successful, rich and clean?"
Well, I am pretty much certain there are several reasons for that. And as I appreciated and value your time, today I am focusing my attention to one of them.

The Changing Face of Connecting and Being Social

I used to think it was mildly funny to watch a group of teenagers in a fast food joint sitting at the table together texting each other, rather than actually talking. Maybe it's not funny, at all... maybe it's closer to tragic?

Quirky Gardens!

I love a classic English or French garden - there is something really beautiful about the formality and structure of both styles. They are very grand... majestic even - and absolutely the perfect setting for an afternoon of "High Tea" haha! But as much as I love and can appreciate both the above - I have to say that it is a wild garden that speaks to my heart and soul.

I’m incredibly grateful for being featured in your magazine. To me, it feels like both a reward and an achievement, a recognition of the effort and passion I’ve poured into my work. Your platform (magazine) has given me an opportunity to connect with a wider audience, and I can’t express how much that means to me. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!

opportunity to connect with a wider audience

I still doubt that this magazine has a readership. But I know for sure that I need it because it motivates me to read all the posts in the community. 😄

I still doubt that this magazine has a readership.

Even if people are not commenting on this post, I believe (at least from my perspective) that they are reading the articles mentioned in it.

You have at least one reader ;)))

By the way, it seems like a general trend that people might not always engage with posts in detail... after all, there’s so much to read. But when it comes to voting, people may at least skim through some of them, so there’s always a chance! So yeah!
