My latest drawing of an acacia tree, from my drawing paper guide.

In my last post, I tested the Clairefontaine paper, and it was too grainy for my taste.
Here is a reminder:

There are paper types and brands that offer different textures on each side (usually the back is smoother).

I used atmospheric perspective in this drawing.

Atmospheric perspective is the way to draw landscapes.

It means that as far away an object is, the lighter it is, with less details and contrast, and with softer edges.

Here is an example, pay attention to the far away mountains.

Here are few examples.
You can read more about atmospheric perspective in my perspective drawing guide.

I mechanically reached out to my belt to get two twelve-gauge cartridges from my bandoleer to load my double-barreled shotgun :)
Ducks flying through the fields look like easy prey lol.

Nice.
We had (my father) a shotgun, but not semi-automatic.
Meaning, like in the mafia movies, that you load it back and forward with the other hand.
When my little brother and me were young, he let us shoot it, and our shoulder flew back to another city :o)
