VISITING BANKSY exhibition in Vienna. January 2023.

as you can see by last two posts I was in Vienna recently for a week and there is another chapter in my visit that I´d like to share apart from the rest.
I saw there was a Banksy exhibition in a venue in Vienna because I saw the publicity all over the city. I kept thinking to myself each time I saw the poster that it made no sense to me to have an indoor exhibition on the his work. But little by little my curiosity took over and I found myself at the door ready to see what it had to offer.
I have always thought Banksy has a marvellous mind to think up the interventions he comes up with and this exhibition didn´t let me down. I was so envolved in reading the texts and all the explanations that I didn´t take that many pictures. I really recommend the experience. I think it was well presented though all his different phases.

This was made to bring a bit of wealth to the area.

Some paintings denouncing the Mediterranean deaths coming from northern Africa.
Then more works I liked....
I´m not a political artist but I do appreciate his work very much trying to bring visibility to so many unfair situations in the world.

Thank you for the story and photos! I was also at the Banksy exhibition . Last year she was in Moscow. He has a very unusual creativity! I also saw a pink elephant and many other works, and even took pictures in a phone booth)

Oh - Banksy is one of this idols... Not the person, of course. Nobody knows... But: his attitude, his behaviour and his art: so straight statements!

Yes, many unhappy, but by being annonimous he is able to reach further. I enjoy his way of expression the problems, its very creative.
