Ways To Simplify Your Life [Part 1]

in WORLD OF XPILAR2 years ago

A few days back, I was having a little talk with a friend about how easy and simply life can be, and I made this statement to him; "life can be very simple, we should not make it complicated." Part of the reasons life seems complex is because humans have made it so. There are many things that you can observe to do and you will see the simplicity that is embedded in life. Here we shall be taking a look at some of them so as to get handy with them.

1. Create a good routine

It is true that everyone has different things to do per time, but you will agree with me that if you create a routine and stick to it, it will make it easier for you to achieve them. For example, if you are looking to develop an ab or some muscles, you cannot acquire it automatically at once. But you can create an exercise routine (for example 30 mins in the morning, and then 45 mins in the evening) and stick to it, it will be easier to achieve the goal. The routine guides you through what you need to do, when and how you need to do them.

When you create a routine of what to do, it reduces the events of uncertainties and then creates more sense of purpose. There is a greater chance of succeeding at something if it forms part of your routine. When creating a routine, you should be positive about it. Obviously, it will be a waste of energy to create a routine that is negatively inclined. So learn to create a good and positive routine.

2. Take quick actions

When you need to do something today, it will be pointless deferring it to tomorrow. As a matter of fact, it may not even make it easier when diferred to tomorrow, rather it may make it more complex because the zeal to get it done would have been lost. You do not have to wait until you can see the end of the road before you take a step towards your destination. As you make progress, more roads will be unveiled to you. It is worth noting that it is better to take a step and fail at it than to stay without taking any step. If you fail at an attempt, you would have gotten experience and your next attempt will definitely become better and will lead you to success. But the person that has not taken any step has neither gotten any success nor experience.

3. Treat people well

When you meet someone along your way out, try as much as you can to treat them well, because the same person may be of help to you on your way back. One of the things I have learnt in life is not to look down on anyone no matter how their state may look like at the moment. As long as you do not know what the future holds, you cannot predict someone's tomorrow. The same person you look down on today and conclude that they are inconsequential, may be your source of help tomorrow.

More so, it does not take anything away from you by being nice to people. Obviously, you cannot go wrong by treating people well, rather it makes you to become a better person and it attracts good to you. You will be surprised that some of the answers to your wishes are already in the hands of people but you will not know if you treat people the way you like. Before you are rude to someone or treat them with anyhowness, ask yourself if that action will make you a better human. Also ask yourself if you will be happy and welcome it if another person treats you the same way.

4. Have a main plan and a "plan B"

It is true that people are always encouraged to have plans that will guide them through the actions that they want to take, but as one makes a plan, it is also good to have an alternate plan in case if the main plan goes south. Having a plan B is like having something to fall back on when the initial plan fails to work according to plan, so as not to crash-land. Even in business, when investing, you should also have alternatives and do not invest all your funds in one business - try to diversify. This reminds me of this popularly used statement in this part of the world as I conclude with it:

Do not put all your eggs in one basket.
