Turning an Old Chair into a Waiting Chair for Guests

Tonight, I want to share my work at home again, with Steem users who like to do creative things at home, in the activity of changing old chairs into waiting chairs for guests at home.

On the occasion of my free time, I painted this old chair, because there was more paint, when I was painting the old iron table. So, I took the initiative in my free time after drawing several pencil works of art, painting an old iron chair.

After it dries, today is the time for me to repair the chair, turning an old chair into a guest waiting chair, with the hope that the old chair can be used again for the future. by changing and adding, such as:

• Chair base layer with gray velvet fabric
• paint with 2 gold colors
• Replace old foam with new foam.

After making preparations for repairing this old chair, below you will see the activity of gluing the foam, so that the velvet fabric can stick well and not wrinkle later, when guests sit down and wait in the waiting area.

In gluing, I did it with a brush, and velvet cloth, I set it in the right position.

After the gluing was complete, strong gluing was carried out, using a Hakter Clip nail gun, while arranging the position of the velvet cloth correctly, all over the edges of the thick plastic sheeting which was the base for the seat of this old chair.

After everything was finished, I immediately installed it on the iron chair which I had painted gold, so, you creative Steem users, can see the results as in the two pictures below:

The final result of what I did in the process of changing the old chair into a new one again, you can see it in the two pictures below, which I have arranged neatly in the room.

In arranging it, I used two forms of chair arrangement, which you can see below, with a combination of flower pots with elongated iron legs, let's see below:
