That should help to make it easier to fix - it could be as simple as the power button not being connected, the PSU needing replacing or even the fuse in the plug needing replacing. My betting would be one of those 3 things and hopefully it's nothing expensive ๐

If the technician's replacing the power source, then he's probably tested everything else. I would be surprised if that doesn't repair it - computers tend to be quite good at making noises and letting you know what the problem is ๐
