RE: 🧑‍🏭 Work and ChatGPT

in WORLD OF XPILARlast year

I had planned to write a post in reply to this comment as I thought it might make an interesting topic but time has never been my friend and I didn't want to ignore you 🙂

So my delayed reply...

You mean by "persona" the description of a person in terms of certain characteristics - here of customers?
And you need these personas to orient the website to the needs of customers?

Yes. The idea is that each persona forms a representation of a particular customer segment. So if I were to create personas for Steemit, I'd probably have 3 - a blogger, an investor and something else. Maybe a developer. I can't remember why I thought 3.

For each one, we'd think about things like needs, motivations and pain points (i.e. blogger needs to be able to share their thoughts quickly and easily, attract followers, etc. Shitty comments causes them pain). They then become front of mind whenever you're creating or changing anything and should be easily memorable. E.g. Blogger Bill would think that allowing voting services is rubbish. Investor Ian would find having to post shitty content in order to maximise their returns annoying. Developer Dave would find the Return On Investment of his time pointless. You get the idea 😉

I've found ChatGPT really helpful throughout the process. By discussing some of my ideas and refining my prompts, it's a poor substitute for discussing ideas with an expert. It's reassuring to be able to share the final output with something and for it to say "this is great" before sending it to the client 🙂

You get the idea 😉

Absolutely :-)
Thanks for your explanations!
