La presente fotografía fue tomada el día de ayer, 4 de julio de 2024, con la cámara de mi teléfono Samsung A32, mientras regresaba a casa con mi mamá luego de su cita médica. Había una calma relativa en la ciudad, aunque con varios negocios súbitamente cerrados ante el estado de emergencia emitido la noche anterior por el gobernador de Yucatán, Mauricio Vila Dosal.
Un abrazo de solidaridad a mis compatriotas de Yucatán, Campeche y especialmente de Quintana Roo, quienes desde las 6 de la mañana recibieron el impacto del huracán, así como a los habitantes de Jamaica, y las islas caribeñas de Barbados, San Vicente y las Granadinas, Santa Lucía y Granada, quienes sufrieron los estragos de este huracán.

This picture was taken yesterday, July 4th, 2024, with my Samsung A32 phone's camera, while I was going home with my mom after her medical appointment. There was relative calm in the city, although with several businesses suddenly closed due to the state of emergency issued the night before by the governor of Yucatan, Mauricio Vila Dosal.
A hug of solidarity to my compatriots from Yucatan, Campeche and, specially, Quintana Roo, who received the impact of the hurricane from 6 in the morning, as well as to the inhabitants of Jamaica, and the Caribbean islands of Barbados, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia and Grenada, who suffered the ravages of this hurricane.
