And May it Be Better Than Expected!

The White Light Express is — first and foremost — a ministry, and a spiritual organization.

As part of what we do here, we maintain a worldwide prayer request network through which people all around the globe can send their prayer requests, which will then be put into a private closed group where hundreds of people will focus on these requests in meditation, in prayer, or through whatever it is that fills their spiritual niche.

As we have pointed out many times, the White Light Express is non denominational; spiritual not necessarily religious.

Whereas people's individual prayers are held in deepest confidence, we do get a chance to observe certain trends, and to notice certain things that catch our eyes.

One of our favorite things observed over the past 5-6 years comes from a particular group of people who regularly submit prayer requests, but with the unique thing that they end every submission with the words ”and may it be better than expected!”

Very simple, and yet also very meaningful.

How can we apply this in our own lives?

It is quite basic really, because that simple phrase can be applied to things we are afraid of but we know are necessary — like a medical procedure, or a difficult encounter with some person, or a financial crisis — while it applies equally to things we feel very positive about, like a love relationship, or a new business we've started, or a wish to maintain our good health.

Wanting something to be better than expected isn't about greed, or asking for too much — it is simply a request to have a surprise to the upside.

How often do the words ”worse than expected” go through your mind?

It is a common thing among us humans to worry about worst case scenarios, even with things we wish to go really well. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the fear of a negative outcome that we completely forget that the outcome could also be unexpectedly positive!

As part of living life positively, why not consider the opposite outcome of a worst case scenario? There is much wisdom to suggest that we tend to attract that which we spend the most time thinking about...

And so, we invite you to consider adding the words may it be better than expected to the end of anything from your visualization and manifestation to your actual prayers. Who knows, it may be what ends up making all the difference in your world!
