What stops many is that they are not patient enough and put hard work into what they do. And it has to be on our special steem blochain
Many people think that just posting is getting paid.
An important thing to do is build friendships and trust over time, read other people's blogs, comment and vote.

Many people who join Steemit are more directed how to make your posts get rewarded and then cash out coins on the exchange. Indeed, many people then think to post and add income. However, this is a challenge for all of us to build Steem with an awareness base towards a bright future by doing power ups. It could be that friends who invite into steem with the lure will be able to earn money just by writing, posting photos, videos or just a quote.
maybe I'm lucky to know you so I can follow the advice to always do power ups. How I want to be a dolphin or even a whale someday so that I can contribute more to the community. And thank God I've approached it.
