Thank you for mention of me and that you remember Ukraine and its people, it is very important for us in the context of this exhausting war, in which we are simply defending ourselves to survive. As for Christmas, this year we will celebrate it together with the whole world for the first time on December 25, not January 7, as before. We want to sever all ties with the aggressor country Russia as much as possible, so we distance ourselves as much as possible from the common Soviet heritage.
Hi @yetaras, it is a pleasure to be able to highlight you, the users from Ukraine, I always enjoy reading the posts and hope that communication on Steemit brings a bit positivity and a feeling of not being alone for you.
It is really nice to know that Ukrainian are going to celebrate Christmas on 25 December, in Germany it is Christmas Eve so it is an evening of 24th, just in very close family circle and then on 25th and 26th with friends or a little remote family members.
I love Christmas in general, it is a good family holiday so even for those who have no strong religion it is a nice event to gather together.

Oh, we also celebrate Christmas Eve with the whole family and we have a very rich tradition of celebrating it, maybe for some people Christmas Eve is a bigger holiday than Christmas itself
