My Halloween Read - Activating Steem Library - Recruiting Mods

It's that time of the year when my gram's filled with spooky music and horrifying face art. My Netflix is force feeding me with new and old Horror series.

In reality, I don't enjoy doing anything besides Steeming. If I take breaks then those are for usually reading not for watching stuff anyways.

Reading a genre, specific to the ongoing holidays or festival makes it more interesting for me. For instance, it's halloween everywhere on my social apps so I'm already getting those vibes. It's complicated but fellow readers will get it.

Now I am not a fan of horror shows because I don't find them horrifying at all. No offense, but instead of frightening, I find them ridiculous.

But reading is something different. No movie can touch your soul or mind, the way a book does. That's what happened with me when I read Verity earlier this year.

It's not a horror based genre but the story is very thrilling. Colleen Hoover knows how to add enough suspense and thrill in a romance novel to keep you on your toes till the end.

The story revolves around a new emerging author, an ex famous author and her husband. I don't want to give away more as the story is already short. But let me tell you that the story doesn't include ghosts or supernatural characters but still it will give you chills like anything.

I am planning to read it again this Halloween. I recommend you to read it too.

Let me know, how you find it or if you have already read it.
