GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY | DONATION OF FOOD ITEMS TO AN ORPHANAGE IN TAMALE, GHANA
After a successful preparation yesterday, we took off today to the Nyohini children's Home, where we successfully arrived around 4pm.
After a brief conversation with the woman in charge, the items were donated to the Orphanage.
A donation card was issued to us as proof of donation.

The items included two 25kg bag of rice, 2 tin tomatoes, 10 crated of soft drinks, some candies, 2 packs of bottled water and some bags of sachet water.
The donated items
This initiative was brought forth my steemit members who reside in the Northern Regional capital, Tamale. An amount of 70 Ghana cedis was contributed by each member; which is equivalent to 1.8 SBD at the time of the contribution.
In this way, we hope to change lives and put smile on faces with rewards we earn on steemit.
This is our first, but not last donation we would make. As time passes we would embark on other initiatives like these to change our communities and out country for the better.

I am therefore grateful for all our members who took part in the activities and all those who supported. Big ups to you all, i hope our donations does not end here. We hope to see more projects.
