Hours on the Road, the Stress, the Pleasure, New Idea Discovered..

My most recent journey I made was from Kumasi to Accra, Ghana's capital. From Kumasi, the journey took five hours. Traveling by plane takes less than an hour, but traveling by road is more enjoyable because it allows you to view other areas or towns along the way.

For many years, I had hoped that there would be other modes of transportation in Ghana, as there are in many other countries around the world, that would alleviate the stress that travelers face when traveling long distances, but there hasn't been, and while there is air travel, I'm not sure how anyone who travels frequently can always afford it.

This is compounded by the fact that there aren't enough airports in all of the cities to connect travelers to various destinations. The main mode of transportation in Ghana is through road, which has made the transportation industry immensely profitable.

Those who own any of these magnificent buses, which I photograph, are truly wealthy. These are some of the lucrative businesses around that I have discovered and planning to venture into very soon.

I can't afford these expensive buses, so I'll start small. Buying a small car for a taxi business, for example, might be a good place to start. That is how the story of the well-known VIP buses is narrated, which has now grown into a multibillion-dollar company. They began with minibuses and have since grown to control the majority of the city's buses.
Good opportunities do exist everywhere.

The issue is not a lack of opportunities, but rather how to find them and the resources to take advantage of them. As a result, whenever I have the opportunity, I enjoy visiting new locations and conversing with individuals from all cultures in order to learn new things.
