The Diary game- My journey back to school from Tamale to Navrongo
Greetings lovely steemians. I hope everyone is fine by His grace. I’m much delighted to share with you all how my journey back to school from Tamale to Navrongo went and how I ended the day.
It was yesterday, 14th June 2021. I woke up very early as usual, performed my dawn prayers. I slept back and woke up at 7am and did my house chores. I brushed my teeth and took my bath. I took my breakfast and prepared to leave the house to the station with my dad.
I got to the station at around 10am and purchased my ticket. I was the first person there so I had to wait for more passengers to come before we leave.
The car was a private car with five seats plus the driver. Approximately we were waiting for three more people.
After two hours of waiting, the car was finally full. The driver together with the station boys loaded up our luggage into the car boot.
While they were loading our luggage, I went to get myself drink and water before we start our journey.
We started the journey at around 12:30pm.
After some miles of our journey, our car broke down on the road and we managed to get a mechanic at Walewale which is a two hour journey from Tamale.
Luckily,after this minor mechanic fault, we didn’t encounter any till we arrived Navrongo. Thankfully we arrived Navrongo safely. I chattered a tricycle to take me to the campus.
When I arrived at my hostel, I realized my lane had no lights, our prepaid had finished. I finished packing and cleaning before I headed back to the town to purchase the prepaid units.
When I got to the main Navrongo NEDCO office, the network was down and I was asked to wait for a while.
While waiting, a coursemate also came to buy prepaid with his motorcycle. I told him about the network and he suggested we move further to the other office.
We both recharged our prepaid cards successfully and headed back to campus.
I prayed my evening prayers before taking my supper. I ate banku with pepper. I brought the banku from home. So all I just did was grind the tomatoes in the earthenware bowl.
With how I was tired, I couldn’t watch a movie. I slept as soon as I washed the earthenware bowl after eating.
