The season of life has a whole lot. Good times, bad times, but we always pray that the good times will always come our way. I would be submitting this entry to teach readers how a situation of a colleague was solved on campus. I do have horrific situations, but this of my friend surpasses all my own.
In our first year matriculation, I met my friend John. John was a caring, affable and hospitable type. He loved everyone and was ever willing to help everyone. He wasn't from a home endowed with riches but I would give you his last slice of yam if you ask him to. I loved him because of his loving nature. I learned a whole lot from him. The day of matriculation is where we met Ellen, a level 100 student. She was the same nature as My friend John. They easily became friends. I didn't want to because I didn't want female friends on campus.
They became compatible as time went on. Ellen was always at our hostile. Most times, she picked a sleep in our hostile. She cooked for as to all enjoy. At times, she did that with her own money. But I always excused them.
In our second year, Ellen began to grow more beautiful. Guys were all over her. These complements took her mind. She didn't come to our hostel often. Even if she would come, she wouldn't sleep or cook. John had already fallen for her goodness. I knew they were dating, but John will always tell me that, "it is in the pipeline". But her sudden change disturbed John.
Ellen most times was rude to John. This disturbed John greatly. Whenever John asks Ellen if she loves him, the answer was yes, but the actions were otherwise. John cried most times. He wanted Ellen back.
One day, after lectures we decided to go to our Linguistics lecturer to greet him. John was as well our course rep. Immediately we got there, to our surprise, Ellen was seated on the lecturer's laps and kissing him anyhow. John shouted. Only the lady knew it was John's voice.
We came to the hostel. After an hour , the lady called to apologise but John couldn't forgive her. He ended the relationship. This same day, John was saying he couldn't again. They all took their way.John that night was weak and was always saying "I will end my life"
Friends were really helpful. We took John to parties in order to change what was always disturbing him. In fact, it wasn't easy but with time John recovered. We were always around him.John felt fine. He did his normal activities again.
One Tuesday morning, Ellen came to our hostile. She cried her life and apologised. She wanted the relationship back, but John didn't want it again after what he went through.
What we must understand is that, love issues are matters of the heart. Let us check how we go out for it. Let us always be around people who are heart broken.

Oh ladies will show you, Upon all the goodness of John Ellen shown her the power of women and broke his heart last last. You were really helpful because when we get attached to other and they disappoint us we really can do anything, like the way John wanted to take his life. Nice entry buddy.

Thank you for sharing this lovely story. This life is full of heartbreak genuine love don't exist anymore, it's only take the grace of God to be with the right person, she actually hurt your friend but I'm happy that he had friends that stood by him when he was depressed. I wish you all the best.

It is good John ended the relationship and suffered the effects immediately it would have been more bitter if it took time before he decided to end it. We should be there for each other.

I'm actually out of words to express how i felt while reading the story of john and Ellen. But i so much respect him for not accepting her apologies. People like Ellen don't easily change, and assuming he accepted to continue the relationship, i'm sure she would have done worse
This is really sad. You guys did well to help John out of that heart breaking situation. Good he was able to move on with life.
I can relate this to the situation that happened in my school this January,but it ended sadly, the young man, a medical student in his 500Level ended his life due to a broken relationship according to the report. No one was in the room with him when it happened.
It's advisable to stay around heartbroken people to prevent them from hurting themselves and to help them heal.
