The Diary Game [18th September, 2022] : At Church, Officers Appreciation Week

Today is another day. It is a Sunday and as Christians, there is the need to go to church today as usual. When morning came, I quickly performed my morning routines (exercising, brushing, bathing). I did this in a hurry because I didn't wake up that early in the morning. After bathing, I quickly put on my clothes that had been ironed prior to today.

After dressing up, I closed my door and turned off electrical appliances. I then headed towards outside. On the road to church, there were not too many people around. This showed that I was a bit late. The weather was warm and sunny.

When I got to church, worship was already going on. I then joined the church to worship God. After the worship, praises took place as usual.
After the praises, offertory was taken. It was officers appreciation week. The whole preaching was centered on giving to leaders in the church. That, we must love those who keep church activities at heart. They work for us always and therefore when the time is available, we must try our best to appreciate them.

After the preaching was done by the presiding elder, we prayed for them and also gave our contributions to support the leaders.
Today about 70 people came to church. Church was lively because all the activities were of a success. After the last prayer, we all shared the grace and left the church.

It has been a sunny Sunday. In the evening, I will be watching football matches and also write my lesson notes.

It is a very nice building you have got there. I am glad you could share around your church for us. Attendance around 70 is not bad taking a look at the church building.
I am glad you turn off all your electrical appliances off before leaving the house. It is great to do that. Keep it up.
