 Yams on sale

The joy that each weekend comes with is so great. And this is just how it begins. Every Friday like this sounds a warm gentle joy in my heart that l can't wait to share the excitement with my readers here on this blockchain. To some people, Friday is just any other day. But for some of us, it is a special one since it brings to us a whole different perception.

However, passing through the market today this hot afternoon isn't of any problem at all. Maybe this is what l will be doing before l get married. It's actually the lifestyle of many bachelors like me. Unless you really are willing to eat from outside every time. I got here today for stuff to spend over the weekend. As always, food has been available here in Ghana all year round. This makes me commend the hard work of farmers in the country doing everything possible to ensure we never run out of food.

The Bantama market is such a big one here in Kumasi. This is just a portion of it that l passed through. Yams are here with relatively cheaper prices. A tuber is able to feed a mini family for a meal. Someone may choose to consume a full tuber of yam if he/she really wants to. This reminds me of the moment when @dswigle shares many beauty of markets around the world on her popular challenge @marketfriday.

 Veggies and Onions on sale

Onions and other vegies were spotted as well with such a strong and healthy look. They look just as fresh from the farms. Those arranged onions in the bowls cost as low as $0.40. I just did myself some good by getting few tubers of yams with onions and garden eggs. And that was just how the tour through the market ended. I hope these serve the purpose which l got them for.
