Excerpts from Steem Ghana Telegram Meeting - 05/06/2021

Hello Guys,

It is my pleasure to come your way today with a report of what went on for our weekly meetings which we have decided to host on Fridays. Today was fun and exciting and we did have a good number of Ghanaian steemians joining us for discussion to learn, grow and improve upon ourselves. For those of you who missed let's make it a point to be there next week.

The Discussions

Meeting began with a prayer from @magcarnie, discussions were led by @nattybongo, @njaywan and @mcsamm. Members were reminded on the importance and proper usage of the right tag for writeups. Members were also advised to ensure that the ghana tag is used in all their posts for identification. steemexlcusive tags ought to be used only post is exclusive to steem, it is also a requirement for booming selection.

Members were also reminded of the need for consistent powerups, a weekly 10% powerup of earnings should keep members going however it is advised that they powerup more if they can so they can grow quickly and help the community in general.

Individuals who were victims of phishing this week were reminded to be more careful next time and members were encourage to take away the authorisation for 3rd party apps and to use on posting keys if need be for Dapps so as to ensure the safety and security of their funds and hardwork.

Members were also reminded of the need to groom their newbies and to guide them accordingly in writing their achievement tasks. Achiement 1 tasks were specifically treated and members were made to understand that it is pertinen tall rules are follow especially in terms of the picture newbies take with their username and date. They should also ensure the date correlate with the time of posting.

@edmund.nef ask about community membership and members were made to understand there is no particular criteria in place and that all Ghanaians are welcome however delegating to the community would give you a label and also it is important to post quality content and avoid plagiarism if you want to be on good grounds in the community.
