I shared with you the acquired knowledge and skills to help us live a healthy life about safer sex in the first post today and this second and final lecture under contraceptives without medication is the use of spermicide gel by females and pulling out method (coitus interruptus) by males.

The use of spermicide gel as said earlier by females can be effective in preventing unwanted surprise but does not prevent sexually transmitted infections. Its use is just about taking the right amount and inserting it into the vagina (read label). It functions to kill all sperms that are ejaculated into the vagina.

Also, the pulling out method which is widely used by men of all ages is about ejaculating outside the vagina or female external genitalia to prevent pregnancy. This method is said to be over 90% accurate if done right, given it can be difficult to withdraw the penis during sex and sperm may be in the pre-ejaculation stage which is usually not felt when it leaves the penis.
