Happy Founders' Day Ghana! To Them We Say "Ayekoo!"
Our forefathers gave us an indelible legacy. Their foresight and visions led us to the freedom and unity we have today. Since today is a day we celebrate the great memories and works of our forefathers, I would like to project to the world that today is founders day and a holiday in Ghana. This day, 4th August is set aside to remember the sacrifices our forefathers made towards freedom and the path they led for us to enjoy the freedom we have. It is celebrated every year on this date.
As a proud Ghanaian, I celebrate this day because of the gift of freedom they gave us. Their sacrifices and their efforts are cherished by this generation. Their efforts laid the foundation for a united, prosperous, peaceful and a freedom nation. Leaders like Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Obetsebi Lamptey, Ako Adjei, Edward Akuffo Addo,Joseph Boakye Danquah, Dr. Bussia and many more. On Founders' day the big six come the mind but there were a lot who gave Ghana a good legacy. Due to this their images are seen on the Ghanaian cedi notes and coins to depict the gratitude the generation have for them.
However, some acts of Ghanaians must be checked.
Our approach towards work must be changed. Absenteeism must be avoided since the country belong to us all.
Time conciousness must be checked. Our time we go to work must be checked. If it is 8:00am, we must endeavor to be there early.
Government properties must be used well and not destroy it. It is our responsibility to police the environment and the country we live in.
littering must be stopped. The environment must be kept clean to ensure hygiene.
As our fathers' said, the land of Ghana shouldn't be sold anyhow to anybody.
Our wards must be trained with responsibility and responsiveness. They must be good citizens who can take care of the nation in future.
We shouldn't be careless about the evils we see. Let us be responsible.
On our steemit platform for instance, we can let the world know the legacies of our fathers, the impact them had and also change our attitude and work to help the steemit Community.
What will posterity say was your contribution? Let us do our very best to help our nation. Let us all join hands celebrate this day.
Happy Founders' Day To you all!

Hahaha, ayekoo means congratulations. That’s is the Ghanaian language dialect. Thanks for asking I hope that you learned something new today 😅🤗.
Yes I did .thank you for translating it to me.
Great
These people fought a good fight to get us where we are.
Is good to remember our grandparents who fought and build the country for us.
Our forefathers did a great job to give us independence and we should appreciate them for that.
