Investment is the act of placing a capital with the expectation of making an income or profit from what that capital is used for. Well, this is the Englishman's definition of investment. But investment in Steemit goes beyond just placement of capital and I will explain to details why I said this.
So please read to the end.

INVESTMENT IN STEEMIT

They are many ways one can invest in Steemit not just only money per say. Even though, money is also a factor to consider when talking about investment in Steemit.
Other factors like time investment, intellectuality investment and energy investment can also be considered and I will try my best to elaborate more on the above factors mentioned.

INVESTMENT IN STEEMIT WITH MONEY

This is one important way to invest in Steemit. This is because, if your steem power is small and you need to boost or increase you make good use of the small money you have.
You can do so by buying steem from any crypto exchange website or application then transfer that steem to your Steemit account and power up.
For my illustration purpose I will be using Binance and I will also recommend it to you.

Transferring steem to a Steemit account and powering up

Before you can transfer steem to your Steemit account, you must first have some amount of steem in your Binance wallet and if don't have any you can simply buy steem in Binance and proceed.

When you have steem in your Binance wallet,

• locate the wallet and tap or click on withdraw.

• Search for steem and click or tap on it.

• Enter the user's name of the Steemit account.

• Do not enter anything at the memo section

• Enter the amount of steem you wish to send to that Steemit user's account

• Tap or click on withdraw

• You will be prompted that you have not filled in the memo so you simply tap or click on confirm to confirm your decision.

• You will be prompted again to confirm the details you have provided and when you are sure of the details, click or tap on the confirm button and wait for your transaction to be processed which take less than 1 minute.

• Go to your Steemit account wallet and check if the transaction has reflected.

• If the steem has reflected, click or tap on the drop down arrow by the amount of the steem

• Tap or click on Power up from the drop down menu

• Enter the amount of steem you want to power up with and tap or click on the power up button.

This is a major investment in the Steemit blockchain even its importance is more than investing with money. In order to succeed in the Steemit community, you will need to spend a lot of time on it especially when it comes to content creation.

You cannot post a good and quality content if you are always in a rush to post something especially when it is a contest.
You need to take time to analyze and understand the topic, do a good research to get facts to support your claims and try to always explain as best as you can any claim you make in order to make it more understandable to your reader.

A reader may find it difficult to understand a statement you made in your content because you were in a rush to post it so you just made that statement without throwing more light on it and it will look more like a riddle.

This can make the reader loss the interest of reading that post or even decide not to read any post of your's again and it will go a long way to affect you because the lesser reading of your contents are, the lesser the votes and the lesser your earning in the community which will all result to the discouragement in the community and may even lead you to engaging yourself with the Steemit community.

When you are done typing your content, don't just post it straight away, leave it for a night and sleep. The next day you read through it and make any corrections you wish to make because by then your brain is relaxed and you may even get new ideas to add to the content. The Steemit community needs you to make time for it, this will increase your consistency rate in the community and you will benefit from that time invested in the community.

This involves putting your creativeness into good use. When you are in the Steemit community, you will need to invest your intelligency in it that is using that intelligence in you to create good and quality content.

Even though we all don't and can not have the same intelligence level but try to put the little knowledge or intelligence of your's in to use.

Let that intelligence reflect on your contents and it will reduce the plagiaristic rate of your content which will be a plus for you.

When people see that your content are of good quality and plagiarism free, they will tend to increase your upvotes and your earning rate will also increase in the Steemit blockchain.

Try to use you strength to invest in the Steemit blockchain.
One may ask how can invest on something that is online with the strength?. Well, when I say by strength I don't mean by fist. U
se the strength you have to promote Steemit, approach people, go to gatherings and on distances to promote Steemit. You may say you will not benefit from it but you will if you make a post about it and post it you may get upvotes which is an earning for you.
