In life you'll meet two special people, one who changes the way you see yourself and the world. And the other who puts you back together after you have lost the first.

When you talk about strength and unconditional love I would raise my hand and proudly say that my mom is that person. Well I know a lot of us would agree that our mom gives the biggest influence in our lives.

They don't just nurture us a big portion of what makes us is our mom. At times back when I was a kid I wouldn't understand why my mom treats me that way. She was strict, and always sets rules and follows them. If rules were not followed we would always get punished, it was never bend. But its true what they say, you'll never understand your mom till you become one.

How I raise my kids is all because of how I see my mom raise us after my father left. Everything she did back then wasn't easy. Being able to overcome struggles and criticism was what I admire the most. Becoming an adult makes me understand that not everyone will be true to you, my moms experience lets me see life. That at times people will betray you and hurt you, but you have to stand firm and never bent.

I look up to her because she never lets somebody's fault to weaken her but instead made a better version of herself. She didn't show us, her kids that when our father left us she was more than devastated but instead show us that life must still go on. We pick up what is left and make the best of it.

Married life has it's ups and downs. My marriage isn't perfect but its true. We may have some arguments and misunderstanding, but everytime I loose hope of my marriage I think of my mom, she always sees the best despite the bad.

Being a wife and a mother makes me realize that it isn't easy, but I am proud to face the struggles because I have a strong foundation. I know I will not be easily shaken.

So if you ask me why is she important? Words isn't enough to describe everything she has done for us.
