MY CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACHIEVEMENT IN STEEMIT | How it helped me to step out from my comfort zone as a grown up woman?

It has been four years since I became part of this platform as an Introvert Artist. Today, I will share to you how Steemit turned my life.

I'm still not good with this but I will introduce my Self once again. Hi, Steem Women club! I'm Margery. A Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering graduate.

"My main area of study is to create engineering processes and systems that improve quality and productivity.

When people ask me what I study at university, I normally say "Engineering". However, when I look at the big picture, I have covered way more than that in just four years from knowing what is the main subject of an Industrial Engineering up to encompassing methodical or quantitative approach to optimizing how a process, system, or organization operates. But it is studying such a board range, that I found my passion for management. It is this passion that lead me to take it further and apply my learnings to my future job.

If you have wondered why I am using @lullettematz, well it is my mother's. I just use it here because she is the root of my talent in sketching, drawing, painting, calligraphy, handicrafts and even in writing poems. She is the mother of Everything. I also included her in my previous posts about her amazing and great teaching techniques of being a role model teacher.

In my first week here, it feels like I can't earn any attention yet I keep on posting about my mom's teaching strategies and works. Few weeks later, I decided to start in posting my artworks in this platform. In my first step here, it's not that easy and very difficult to gain attention from others. I even think of quiting but I did not give up in terms of my objectives. I keep on posting my arts until one day I gained a shower of blessings. Also, I learned to communicate with other people and enhanced my talent.

Making drawing and paintings during my vacant time is my way for pass time or for practice. Then it happened, I made a blog in art category and it was my first piece to post here. After that, I received a compliment from someone. He admires my artwork and motivated me to include to post the step-by-step process of my paintings. He helped me to stand out here and since then, I used to include to post the (WIP) or Work-in-Process and received positive feedbacks and load of upvotes from top curators.

HOW I KNEW STEEMIT

Honestly at first, I am not that interested to sign up here because I once thought it's scam. As the time goes by, @philiparniebinag really gave a push and finally persuade me to create interesting blogshere in steemit. In short, he's the one who promoted and the reason how I knew Steemit.

He also introduced steemit to everyone especially to my friends and became one of the Steemit promoters in our University.

MY ACHIEVEMENT IN STEEMIT

During my first for two months as an active steemer, I have had participated the @steemph.cebu program (Gift Giving Day) held by the core leader @jassennessaj where we extend our hands to help the chosen family benificiaries.

These are the goods we distributed to the beneficiaries.

We also gave them food packs as for dinner time.

Joining this event was really heart-warming. Looking on how happy the family members are makes me to help and volunteer more in charities. And meeting some of the Filipino steemers in the said event was such a great moment as well. Seeing them for the first time in person was kinda awkward at first but when we all started to communicate, I can feel that I truly belonged in this group of peers.

We lit these candles to wish more goodness in bringing this platform to other people who has ability to share about their life, talent, hobbies, wisdom, knowlege and a lot more interesting contents. And to continue building strong community.

I'M ALWAYS HAPPY TO SHARE!

In my journey here in Steemit for years, I am always happy to share everything in this platform including in other communites and I will always continue to make everyone happy by resteeming others valuable post and give compliments to help them discovered by the top curators.

"Everything starts in little until it become big in just no wonder."

To share my achievement, I didn't forget my family about it. Just in year 2017 (my 4 months in steemit), I received my very first reward (cash out).

Every December, it's the only month I get to see my family as I am attending my college away from them and my city. While they are on vacation here in Cebu, I bought my sister a gadget as my gift for the Festive season (Christmas & New Year) because she really want it so bad and for she won't borrow our phones anymore just to play with then the rest of the money was given to my parents. As an eldest, it's okay for me not to supply my wants because I find it better for me to put my parents and sister first.

Look how happy she is and now she's enjoying it a lot! The tablet now is almost 4 years as well and still fine.

2021 COMEBACK

Honestly, I stopped posting when the crypto fluctuated until the value permanently decreased in year 2018. There, I decided to stop in posting as I've seen a lot of steemers are on sleeping accounts even the top curators those days are powering down their steem and so do I.

Now that the value is slowly and continuously increasing, this blockchain was stood up once again and brought the steemers hyped! So here I am, back in posting original contents and still praying that I'll get another reward once again to give back to my family especially these days of difficulties. And I can't really deny this situation that I'm pursuing something big here in this platform to have an extra support for my family and for my Self.

Coming back after 2 years wasn't that easy. Thinking about new content made me think of nothing so I re-posted my Artwork Tutorials by making a collage of it and re-introduced my Self so I'll get remembered by the old steemers and known by newcomer. Gladly, steemcurator's found me. Because of that, I've got inspired to make new contents the next days and joined in every contest I see. That includes the contest about recycling waste materials which just fits my personality -creative. I've been enjoying this contest as it is near in my hobbies as I really love re-creating stuff and every thing that has still worth or purpose.

As Covid continuously spreading, I came back with my hobbies while spending my time at home. I stitch to make my own clothes, I drawn and paint again. Had some time to declutter and re-arrange furniture. And not only that! I’ve found/explored new hobbies as well and share it here through posting tutorials. I learned how to make dough for bread, and pasta where I don’t need to order pizza because I can make my own EXTRA. And have some home baked cake without worrying how much sugar on it. And based on my taste, this new hobby suit me well!

This platform also helped a lot of people with courage. By just posting, we earn and develop our skills! Steemit also helped everyone to stand out by expressing their wisdom, talent, taste, experience of travel and many more to share especially to the blogs about how steemit changed their lives, it still moves me.

In return, I also shared this blockchain to others and now they're starting to steem.

Promoting steemit is such a pleasure especially when you've seen the progress they are up to.

And now that I'm here in Mindanao -Philippines, I still continued on promoting Steemit. I shared my little knowledge to help them grow and one of them is @blindfolded. She's my cousin who really pursue the life of steem and dedicated herself in sharing the beauty of our own city.

I'm praying for more beautiful years here in Steemit and share my another jorney once again and hope that this would truly inspire the other steemers to steem hard! 😊 Steemit really helped me to bloom as a woman. Becaus of it, I got the opportunity to explore more my talent and learn. Without this blockchain, I won't get out from my comfort zone and won't find myself as a better version.
