How to make a timpan:

  • take a little dough and shape it round
-Take a piece of banana leaf that has been cut into small (square)
  • Put a little cooking oil so that the timphan doesn't stick to the banana leaves daun
  • then take the dough that has been in the shape of a thin round (if I use a dinner plate, I press rotate)
Then add the sri kaya jam and wrap the dough again with banana leaves.
  • after all the timpan finished in the dressing, steam for 25 minutes.
  • Wait a few moments to cool, and the timpan is ready to be served.
