Indonesia has a variety of cultures and characteristics in each region. Including 34 traditional clothes owned by all provinces. Today I want to introduce the Acehnese traditional Dara Baro clothing, its meaning and philosophy.
Dara Baro traditional clothes or Peukayan Dara Baro are Acehnese traditional clothes that are specifically worn by women. Dara Baro also has more accessories in the form of jewelry and other accessories. Traditional Acehnese women's clothing is also influenced by Malay and Islamic culture.

As for the design itself, this outfit is said to be very Islamic and closed. The following are parts of the traditional Aceh Dara Baro clothing:

1. Shirt Brackets
   Shirt Brackets is made of woven silk threads with motifs made of gold thread. The use of Shirt Brackets will also be equipped with a songket sarong to cover the female hips. The songket will later be tied using a belt made of silver or gold, namely Taloe Ki Ieng Patah Sikureueng. As for the neck or collar, a typical Acehnese woman's jewelry, named Boh Dokma, is worn.
2. Pants Cekak Musang
   Cekak Musang pants have a pants model that widens down. It's just that Dara Baro's Cekak Musang pants have a bright color depending on the color of the Shirt Brackets worn. These pants are also lined with a woven sarong that reaches up to the knee. Weasel shorts have embellishments on the ankles. The decoration is in the form of embroidery made of gold thread and can beautify the design of the pants. Cekak Musang is also often used by Acehnese women when they perform a traditional dance typical of the region, dubbed the Veranda of Mecca.
3. Headgear and Jewelry
   In traditional Acehnese clothing, women use quite a variety of jewelry, such as Patam Dhoe which is a crown, earring or earring shaped jewelry, and Taloe Takoe Bieung Meuih (gold necklace). Patam Dhoe is a crown that has its own uniqueness, namely in the middle there is calligraphy writing with the words Allah and Muhammad surrounded by floral motifs and circles or the Acehnese people call the combination Bungoh Kalimah. This crown is proof that the woman is married and has become a responsibility.
