It's with great pleasure I write my first post for the year here to give procedures on how I make soya milk.
Introduction
As we know, soya Bean is very rich in protein which make it's product too nutritious.
Procedures
Sorry I don't have full pictures of the processes but will vividly.
- Measure any quantity of soya bean required, pick the spoilt ones, wash, drain the water, add ginger or any spice for drinks then take to the engine for grinding or blend wisely so it does not spoil the blender because the beans is not socked.
Note..
The quantity increases while grinding so make sure to use a larger container compare to the initial quantity.
After grinding then is to sieve.
The quantity of water added before sieving has to be measured.
For example:
For 1 mud which is equivalent to 6cups (not sure) will require a bucket and quarter of water to sieve with while half mud will require halve of the bucket.
I don't know the measurements for other quantity but make sure that the mixture to sieve is not too light then sieve.Turn the sieved grinded soya bean into a put and boil. Turn on into a bowl immediately it begins to boil. Always check it while on fire because it foams and rises when boiling and pours when no one is close to open the pot.
Turn it into a dip container like a bucket or dip bow when you dip your hand in it and it doesn't hurt but not cold. The dip container in the ticken process.
At this stage, you can take the hot version of it. It has a milky taste here😋Cover the container and keep in a worm place to thicken for hours depending on the temperature or weather. The hotter, the faster.
I usually make mine at night then by morning, it thickens like youghort.
Turn it into a bigger bowl to seive.
Add a desirable amount of water base on how thick or light you want it to be, then seive.
Sieving is necessary in this stage to make the drink smooth without looms.Add sugar to taste, flavour of your choice, then refrigerate with any container of choice.
Note...
Soya milk is best served chilled and needs refrigerator for preservation.
So make sure it's refrigerated.
