STEEM WOMEN CLUB: Act of Kindness|| Bringing Joy To My Friend's Neighborhood

“Everything is easy in this world who lightens the burdens of another.”

For the past few days, My husband and I are busy canvassing and printing kid's t-shirt for today's feeding activity.

This Act of Kindness is an initiative of a very good friends of mine @georgie84, @steemitcebu, @bisayakalog and @sweetspicy. I am very happy to contribute by providing them with printed t-shirts for this activity.

I support this Act of Kindness by providing a very affordable t-shirt printing for the kid's t-shirt. I also suggest to print our usernames to our t-shirt to show support to #Steemit blockchain and @steemitsea community.

I arrived at the agreed location of the activity before 11 AM to deliver the t-shirts. My friend @georgie84 is preparing the things needed. They obviously need extra hands preparing 50 egg sandwiches. I joined the action and we were able to make around 130 pieces of egg sandwiches.

The feeling is very overwhelming because the activity is a huge success. The activity should supposedly start at 1:30 in the afternoon but with the combined effort of the team making and packing the sandwiches, preparing the tetra pack juices and the timely arrival of the ice-cream, we are able to start the feeding activity an hour earlier than planned. Thankfully, the food we serve are more than enough for the the kids and adults that participated the activity. This feeding activity is for the kids and adults alike. We started the activity around 12:30 noon and finished at 2 o'clock.

Seeing the children's happy faces and hearing the grateful adult participants, I ponder and realized that we can bring joy and happiness and be a blessing to everyone we meet in our own little ways. A note to myself - To do a random act of kindness, one at a time.

To conclude, today's event is exhausting but the feeling of being blessed and being fulfilled is the feeling that stays with me until now. And if I am to repeat it, I will always make myself available to offer extra hands.
