Your words touch the depths of emotions.
It's so easy to make someone happy, just with a few good words, a small compliment, or a boost of encouragement.
Sometimes, just a few words from us can change someone's life and turn their negative thoughts into positive ones. And only those who understand the value of happiness can truly appreciate it.
Give a small compliment about a sweater or kind answer to a cashier and the smile you receive is pure gold.
Even if we are out of wordsva small gesture shows.
There was a lady in the supermarket in front of me. The cashier told her she needed a club/bonus card to receive the bonus. I said can she use mine? The close to 90 year old had no clue what the cashier was talking about. She said: of course (I thought why don't you use yours like they do in some supermarkets). Problem solved.
The lady thanked me a milliin times, her daughter arrived and she told her. The daughter thanked me for helping hetlr mom and later outside they thanked me again and again and again. It felt good but at the same time it was too much.
What's wrong with us? How can it be that such a small gesture made both women praise me into heaven. Is no one kind these days? It's not that I paid for her pot of instant coffee.
I hope these two have confident in people again and dare to ask for help and that cashier perhaps it made her think.
Sorry for the late reply. Actually, I was busy with some outdoor work after that I got engaged in creating some art, so I couldn't read your comment.
You helped a 90-year-old woman who wasn't understanding what the cashier was saying. Your actions are a testament to your good character. Sometimes, we do something similar in our daily lives, which shows that humanity and the spirit of helping others still exist. And your heart must have felt great peace when that mother and daughter were happy because of you.
Otherwise, in today's world, people are so caught up in their own lives that they don't even bother to help others.
Our conscience is what motivates us to do good deeds. When we start listening to our conscience, we become a good person by doing a good deed.
People get caught up but I also see that there are more introverts and fear increases. It's not because they are bad people but we forgot how to act on an impuls, react by instinct.
I can't always interact or be the kind helpful one, perhaps I see more because I'm the observer and stay at the sideline and am never in the centre of attention?
I was surprised, felt overwhelmed as they kept thanking me and somehow it made me feel uncomfortable as they kept saying this. I felt a lot of loneliness if it comes to kindness. It makes me think and still does. What happened that they felt so relieved, overjoyed and gratefull till the bone?
Thank you for replying, there's no need to answer on an instant. It's good to have a life and let Steemit be for what it is.
Blessed be
