"Contest| Why Do You Like Travelling?"

It is my pleasure and also a privilege to participate in this Steemit contest with a topic titled: "Why Do You Like Traveling". I will like to make my entry using the tips as provided here in the contest which is organized by @manisha.jain9 in Traveling Steem Community. I will like to plead for your indulgence to continue with me as I make my entry in this contest.

Why do you like to travel? To see new places or take a break from daily routine?

It is worthy to note that I found traveling to be fun and it also happened to be one of my hobby. I love traveling a lot any day any time so far it doesn't affect my work-life's schedule. I love making use of my free times to travel to see new places and also to take a break from my daily routine.

Do you prefer a planned day during trips or just relax and travel?

Planning is very essential in every sphere of life, as a matter of fact failure to plan is automatically planning to fail. I like planning anything I found myself doing so that I can have at least a good control over the expected outcome.

I definitely prefer a planned day during trips. This is to make sure that the particular planned day would be suitable for the trip and also for me; personally I don't like emergency journeys or what I do personally called "fire brigade journey".

If I will travel, I prefer planning or choosing a convenient day that would not temper or affect my work schedule and also a more suitable date and day deem fit for the trip.

I will like to arrange whatever I will like to go with, so that I would not forget anything behind. I will like to plan the outfit (clothes) I considered more convenient for the type of trip. I will also like to plan the money I would use for the trip etc.

Early March this year 2024, I was forced to embark on an unplanned trip for a Leadership Training which I so much love. I did not planned financially in order to cover for all my expenditures though we were told that we have nothing to worry ourselves of that it shall be taking care of including feeding.

This trip was from Kaduna to Lagos which was supposed to be a flight by air but they later changed it to be by road. The journey was stressful, we left on Wednesday and we were to return on Sunday after the training.

I left for the journey without money because it was impromptu and they promised us everything is already covered only for them to live us without food, from Wednesday to Sunday no food, I had to just turned the whole stuff to prayer and fasting cause food their was very expensive. You will need like ₦3,000 for one meal at a time to be satisfied so I starved badly that sometime I barely understood the training.

Are you someone who wants to cover all sightseeing places and keep rushing from one place to other or someone who loves to enjoy one or two sightseeing places a day and just enjoy the beauty out there?

It all depends on where I am taking the trip to. Sometimes I would prefer to cover all sightseeing places and rushing from one place to another while in some cases I prefer one or two sightseeing places a day by taking my time to enjoy the beauty out there as the case may be.
