SEC-S18W6 | My Travel Destination In 2024: Exploring The Natural Beauty And Cultural Heritage Of Ibeno Beach Nigeria.

I don't want to be so busy making a living that I forget to make a life. I have so many marvelous destinations in mind that I would love to travel to, Italy, Canada, and New Zealand but my budget is tight, so what? It is said beauty is everywhere, it's just for us to open our hearts to it so I've chosen one of the most attractive travel destinations in my locality Ibeno Beach, I went to this place only once when I was a teenager and I would love to visit the beach with my family before the end of 2024.
Ibeno Beach is Located in Ibeno Local Government Area Akwa Ibom State. The beach is 2 Two-hour drive from my place of residence, it's one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in my state, and it's known for its crystal clear waters, vast expanse of sandy shores, and stunning sunrises and sunsets. The beach is the longest in West Africa.
Apart from being naturally endowed, it's an ideal destination for travel lovers, it offers a wider range of activities that suit people of all ages, interests, and abilities. For example, visitors can enjoy sunbathing, Swimming, horse riding, boat riding, skiing, snorkeling, volleyball, and kayaking.
I will also explore the nature and wildlife of Ibeno, I will visit the Ibeno bird sanctuary where I can observe the various species of birds including uncountable migratory birds that have flown from Europe. I will also see the rare sea turtles that have been protected over the years, I will take part in conservation efforts by supporting responsible tourism practices. I will explore the mangrove forests and nearby nature reserves.
Ibeno town is a home for my fellow Ibibio and Efik tribes, the most hospitable and peaceful communities in Nigeria and they have a rich cultural heritage, that is worth exploring. I hope to visit there during the festive period so that I may attend ceremonies, visit the museum, and try out most local delicacies, especially the seafood.
I will go on this trip with my beloved family and friends, my kids will especially be grateful for this, they've not seen an ocean 🌊 before, so it will be a memorable moment for them. They are planning on building sandcastles at the beach, so it will be a special moment for me to build with them, I can imagine the joy we will feel riding horses together and splashing water on each other, so it will be group travel.
I would love travel to travel to Ibeno Beach with @eliany, exploring the pristine beauty, rich culture, and thrilling activities with her. I will sew the appropriate beach clothing for us, sunscreen, and my phone camera will be everly ready to take uncountable shots. I will take snacks and different kinds of drinks, we will buy food and other things there. For this trip, a token of 1000 Steems ($190) will be enough, since we will not spend a night there. I still have 5 months to plan for this trip before the end of this year and it will be a reality!
In conclusion, Ibeno Beach is simply a unique and exciting destination to travel to, it has something to offer everyone. Its rich culture and pristine beauty, coupled with numerous thrilling activities make Ibeno Beach a must-visit spot for tourists who seek adventure & relaxation. Be it a solo traveler, a family, or a group of friends, I believe that Ibeno Beach will offer an unforgettable experience that will linger in your memories long after your trip.

You should definitely go there @goodybest bring all of them, no need to stay overnight if it will be beyond your reach. No need to be luxurious, just go there and play with them.
Dyou know what: No need to work 24/7 if you cannot have a little time with them. Time is ticking and when you realize they have gone somewhere on their own. And when the time comes, it is already too late to realize.
This is the time, to put down everything else for a day, shut your phone down, or put it in flight mode, so you can still have a chance to take a phone and have a real chat with them.
Money will be meaningless if you miss the chance to give them something valuable when you still have the strength to earn it again.
The most important thing is to pursue your happiness when you still have a little chance to do so

This year should not pass by this trip because we have enough time to plan it well and Cary it out. It really been a long time I visited beach right from when I was barely 2months pregnant and I so much enjoyed the outing.
It will be fun to play by the water side, the kids will really enjoy this outing together with us.

If you had not mentioned this ibeno beach, I thought the tourist destination for both akwa ibomite and cross river all reside in calabar. I didn’t know they had such place in uyo!!

You are so right when you say beauty is everywhere! I have visited New Zealand and Canada on short trips but I found the best-traveling destination is the great Himalayas in my neighborhood. I go to different parts of the Himalayas as and when I wish as I know every corner of this area like the back of my palm. Best of luck for the contest!

Hi, You want to go to the beach in Nigeria, you went there when you were a teenager and now you want to go there on a trip it is very lovely. This beach is famous for its clear and clean water and an interesting fact is that this beach is the longest in West Africa. This place is very attractive for tourists because they can do horse riding, volleyball, boat riding, and many more. You will also travel to Ibeno and see the migratory birds and the most special is that you will see the rare sea turtle. I wish I could be there too.
