Before the rose became a rose, it already knew it was a rose.

Before the rose became a rose, it already knew it was a rose.
I kind of envy that.

People see my photos and think I’m elegant, quiet, and when they watch my vlogs, they’re surprised by how energetic I am.

What kind of personality do I have? Even I get confused sometimes and can’t quite put it into words.

In my twenties, I saw many of my friends getting married, having children, and succeeding in their careers with an air of certainty.

It seemed like they always knew what to do and when to do it, while I was still lost and clueless.
It wasn’t until my thirties that I started to understand things better. I stopped waiting for others to give me opportunities and began pursuing my own passions, doing what I’m good at.

From being a dancer, to a flight attendant, from part-time blogger to full-time, from wandering around with no fixed income to now having stability – these accomplishments weren’t easy to achieve.

In the blink of an eye, I’ve already lived through more than half of my life, and I’m still on the journey.
But now, I’m much more certain of myself than before.

At my own pace, when I’m ready, when the time is right, and the opportunity comes – that’s when I’ll bloom.

Recently, I came across a quote that resonated with me:
“In this era filled with perfect answers, we often make ourselves anxious. But everyone has their own time to bloom. There’s no need to envy others for having things earlier, nor should we feel dim in comparison. We will all shine in our own way.”

We often worry about many things: delayed deliveries, failing exams, next month’s living expenses, an uncertain future, fickle attitudes, half-hearted replies…
After seeing others’ perfect answers, we tend to instinctively doubt ourselves.

But don’t let others’ light make you overlook your own. The moon may shine brightly, but the stars also have their own glow.
Some beautiful things happen gradually, and some people you’re meant to meet eventually. Every flower has its season—some bloom earlier, some later—but they all bloom.

I still love wearing beautiful dresses, even more so than in my twenties. I’ve never put any shackles on myself.

Like Sammi Cheng at 50, Michelle Yeoh at 60, Wu Yanshu at 85… they’ve never passed their prime.
They seize the possibilities in every moment, turning life into a “golden era.” They accept and follow their own rhythm, growing patiently and diligently.

This summer, a rose-printed dress accompanied me from the garden by my house to the small highlands of Mile, Yunnan. I wore it to meet clients, I wore it on dates, and at every moment, the roses were in full bloom.
