Good day fellow Steemian! I am here to participate in th 4th week of this amazing contest organized by @olga.maslievich and share this breathtaking and picture perfect Lake Danao Park in Camotes Island, Philippines.

If you are thinking that this picture is a painting or just an imagination, well you got it wrong. This is the breathtaking Lake Danao Park in Camotes Island here in Cebu Philippines, wherein the lake reflects and imitates the beauty of the sky and captures our eyes and hearts.

Last, December 2020 me and my friends went to Camotes Island and discovered this hidden gem that I can never forget. This place is very serene and quite, it literally takes my breath away the moment I laid my eyes on its beauty.

For an entrance fee of just 30 pesos we are able to breathe the fresh air that the lake has to offer. When I was just a child my grandmother has a picture frame of a beautiful and peaceful lake reflecting the sky in our kitchen, and every time we eat there I will just stare at it and wonder if there is truly a place as beautiful as the place in the picture.

And here I am! Very joyful and happy to be able to see at this wonder! I could just stare at this view for the rest of the day!

Look at those cute swan boats reflected with beauty and cuteness by the lake! I am super in love!

Aside from the view, this park also offers you peaceful mind because of the winds kissing the leaves of the trees. They also have some activities to offer to their guests like, Kayaking which is 50 pesos per head for 30 minutes wherein you will explore the tranquility of the whole lake with your partner or loved ones. They also have Zipline for 70 pesos per head, wherein you will cross from the main land to the small islet that sits right apart from the main park. This park also accommodates, big team events and programs like family reunion, team building and birthdays. For our group we just visited the lake and took a lot of pictures and then took our breakfast with the view.

I cannot forgive myself if I ever miss this chance to take photos of this amazing lake, so I took a lot of pictures and soon I will come back home, I will put this one in a frame just like my grandmother's.

This experience makes me realize that nature should be an example for us, just like this Lake Danao, representing calmness and tranquility. Despite the chaos that the world is in now, we should make our hearts like a lake with calm, still surface and great depths of kindness.
