Assalamualaikum everyone

Hope everyone is doing fine. I am also fine by the grace of Allah, Alhamdulillah. I am Shawlin Sharmin Rimpy and my Steemit username is @shawlin.This is my first post here. I am excited to share my experiences on this platform.

Recently I have traveled to Sajek Valley along with my family. First, we arrived in Khagrachori and had a light breakfast there as we had a long journey ahead. From there we grabbed a jeep which is commonly known as ‘Chad er Gari’ to the locale it is a jeep-like vehicle and is capable of climbing inclined routes with ease.

During the Jeep journey, we encountered 3 checkpoints with heavy security. As the mountains are covered in greenery so it is an ideal place for criminal activities. Upon reaching the final checkpoint it took a lot of time to process the queued-up vehicles and we were given an armed escort. The jeep was climbing rough inclined roads and as we passed the locales they would wave at us and smile at us. we reached top of the mountain after 2/3 hour of straggling.

When we reached on the mountain we could see the scenery from miles away. We checked into our resort named Runmoy Resort which was located beside helipad and freshened up. Although we were so tired we decided to explore the area. We would go around tasting various kinds of food that were famous in the locality.There was a place called Lushai Heritage Village.There everyone can wear Lushai Tredishonal dress.So we changed into the traditional dress and had a lot of fun dancing with the locale.
After that, we took the route to Kanglak Mountain. The mountain was steep and a great challenge waiting to be accomplished by us.After doing so many straggling we reached our destination & Mashallah,Nature amezed me a lot.Few minutes later the sun went down.So we also came down from the mountain.
After that we were exhausted then upon returning we fell asleep. Then got up to see the sunrise it was beautiful and the clouds were floating under us. It made me relaxed. Then after that, it was time for our return.we were feeling so sad
