Twice unlucky. Last weekend, my wife and I tried to got the NUSS Mandalay Guildhouse for high tea on Saturday but they were out of the "cage" for the high tea. Then on Sunday, we went there for dinner too early.
两次不走运。上周末，我的太太先去国立大学协会的Mandalay会所不成。在星期六，想去喝茶但他们的“笼子”全用了。然后在星期天，我们去那里吃晚餐但太早还没开。

I told my wife, the almanac already said luck direction was west. So I drove to the NUSS Kent Ridge Guildhouse and went to the cafe.
我告诉太太，通胜都说西方才是吉祥方向。所以，我开车去了国立大学协会的肯特岗会所的餐厅。
Ordered 2 cups of teh halia (ginger tea) which was colder than we expected.
点了两杯姜茶但这是比我们预想的更冷。
My wife's fried noodle was spicy enough though it was a bit oily.
太太的炒面够辣，虽然是一个有点油腻。
My fried kway teow didn't taste as good I expected. I hope I'm not losing sense of taste because that's a symptom.
我的炒粿条没味道好像不必以前的好。我希望我没有失去味觉，因为那是症状。
Finished the dinner and walked to the car park witnessing the sunset.
吃完后，走到停车场看到日落。
On the way back stopped at Lorong 8 Food Centre to get some food for my wife's parents. The fruits store near there had plenty of durians.
在回去的路上停在大巴窑8巷的熟食中心买一些食物给岳父母。附近的果实店那里有很多榴莲。
The food centre was crowded.
熟食中心里挺多人的。
The coffeeshop and seafood restaurant were filled with diners too.
该咖啡店和海鲜餐厅也有很多人再吃晚餐。
The lady was queuing impatiently for her food.
那女人有店不耐烦地排队买她的食物。
Outside the food centre, there was this group of 7 boys breaking the social gathering rule of no group bigger than 5.
在外面，有这组7个男孩不管聚会不能多过5位的规则。
The safe distancing ambassadors were keeping a safe distance from all the dinners. 😎 Not getting help from them. My lady finally bought her food and we were out of there.
安全距离大使在跟食客保持安全距离。 😎 别想他们会帮忙。太太终于买到食物就走人了。
