Introduction

Welcome to the second week of this challenge and I love it because it is moving us to engage and communicate more, this challenge has also motivated us to reach out to more communities and it is also bringing out the best in us, so I say thank you @steemit-team for this provision.

This week am going to share with you my meeting some fellow steemian, how I felt when I meet them and how we meet, so let's go.

Meeting with @talktofaith

why I decided to meet @talktofaith

At the earliest stage when I joined steemit I felt discouraged because I didn't get the point of what was going on in this platform.
I needed encouragement and guidelines on what to do and how to do it.
@talktofaith was the Lagos state coordinator in @steemalive community so I decided to meet her to get encouragement and ask her some questions.

How I meet @talktofaith

So on Sunday 4th July 2021 I went off to chicken republic Jibowowhat3word
to meet up with @talktofaith and that wonderful day I also meet with another steemian called @ammyy and I was so happy.

@talktofaith words of encouragement contributed to why I am an active steemian today.

• she opened her heart and explained to me what she has gained by joining steemit both financially and Educational wise.
• she told me not to worry about vote but to build my page by being more consistent.
• She also showed me how to create quality content free from plagiarism.
  Those guidelines helped me to build myself and become an active steemian today and am reaping the benefits of my activeness.

Meeting with @focusnow

@focusnow is a very humble man that I value so much.

How I meet @focusnow

@focusnow signed me up and continued to guide me on how to succeed as a steemian, he introduced me to @talktofaith and I always longed to see this young man that was always at my favor.
Finally I traveled to my home town Aba Abia state and I decided to meet with @focusnow no matter what it takes for me to achieve that.

So one faithful morning I left my village to Aba town at No 1 Azikiwe roadwhat3word where steemit office is located and I was excited because I end up seeing not just @focusnow I also meet with @samuel20 and @ninapanda and it was a great day.

Meeting @focusnow is unique to me

Before meeting with @focusnow I was wondering what steemit promotion is and how it's been done, I never knew how to align my post and apply markdowns but immediately I meet with this humble man he made out time to teach me how to apply markdowns and present my post in a good way.

He also helped me to understand what steemit promotion is and how I can participate how to sign up newbies and mentor them to be an active steemian, honestly I became an active promoter of steemit till date so I will say that meeting with @focusnow had a great impact on my steemit life.

This is another active steemian that I cherish so much, meeting her made my day and gave me more reasons to continue as an active steemian.

@ruthjoe is so humble and dedicated to whatever she is doing and I love her for that.

How we meet

Steemit promotion brought us together, I first meet @ruthjoe at national stadium surulere Lagos state what3word on the second day of our steemit promotion in Lagos state.

That meetup was unique because her words to me that day are still my motivating words till date, I never knew that someone can be dependent on steemit platform for her overall expenses @ruthjoe made me see steemit from another point of view.

Conclusion

As a matter of fact if you meet up with a wise person honestly you become more wise likewise when you meet with an active steemian obviously you will become more active which will bring more progress to steemit.
