Selfie..., here and there selfie... This describes the activity of the majority of smartphone users today to capture every event in their lives, but unfortunately... not with me, for me selfie is an activity that is rarely done even in the most beautiful moments.

This topic sparked my interest in participating, I saw a list of images saved automatically in Google Photos. Finally, I found it. 😊

I captured the first picture on September 5 2019, I took out my Android smartphone from my left trouser pocket and captured the tense moment at that time.

How come? Health Service Facility Accreditation was something new for me and other employees at that time, we were faced with thousands of pieces of documents over the last 5 years. "Do what is written, and write what is done"

9 defecation must be accounted for in front of a surveyor selected by the Ministry of Health, this is a special moment to explain each defecation according to the condition of the facilities for the last 5 years.

September 5 2019 was our first day, together with dentists, health promoters, financial analysts and myself in charge of welcoming the Surveyor Team to the Health Facility yard where I work. There are great expectations on our shoulders, The first impression determines the portrait of the service we provide, and this is what makes me feel anxious.

Can we get the perfect title to boost customer trust and satisfaction? I felt restless, visible from the expression on my face which reflected anxiety, actually, this didn't need to happen. Even I, who rarely take selfies, try to capture this special moment every 5 years.

Not with my other colleagues, some of them were able to smile at the surveyor who would soon be interviewing more than a dissertation or thesis trial.

It turned out that the first selfie had changed my paradigm about this activity, I started doing it again when taking the Professional Competency Exam at the Unimal Lhokseumawe Campus 2 years later, again with the same feeling, I shifted my attention and anxiety that had arisen before taking the Competency Exam.

I am grateful that this method has increased my confidence in taking the exam that determines promotion to government positions, as a result, I passed the selection with the title of Summa Cumlaude.

Even though up to now selfies have not become a routine for me, I have seen that in certain moments, selfies can reduce anxiety levels and increase self-confidence in facing challenges.
