My Christmas requests

It's another day of the week, and I'm delighted to participate in this contest today organized by @lirvic, which talks about My Christmas requests. I will be making my entry below, so read through it and drop your valuable comment, as it will be appreciated.

As a Catholic we call this period advent which means the preparation stage for the coming of Christ which is always celebrated on the 25th day of December every year. In many families especially here in Nigeria children don't get the privilege to have new clothes until this very period.

As a kid, I also fall under this category though not anymore because I have gotten to a certain level of my life where I buy most things by myself but there other things I still wish someone else can buy for me in show of love this very season.

This is the main reason I'm participating in this contest today. I want to share with you all something I want and wish someone can surprise me with. It is not as though I can't afford some of these things but there is always this joy accompanied to gifts from loved ones.

I have not been able to get a wrist Watch for myself for a while and I want that as a gift during this Christmas season. It may look simple and irrelevant but that is what I desire to have and not getting it with my own money but getting it as a gift is what will make it more special to me.

I was once given this gift for my birthday but I lost it due to a robbery attack in one of my journeys ever since that incident happened I haven't be n able to purchase a new watch. So in this season of love and sharing of gifts if I see a person who will gift me something I will tell the person to gift me a wrist watch.

Now you may want to ask why wrist watch when we have thousands of things that one may ask of. Yes I want something that I will wear always and putting it on on daily basis will remind me about the person who did that great gesture to me.

Having an equipment that reminds you of time always keeps you on the know that in life you always know that there is time for everything and hence you will not use the time allocated for something else to do as different thing. Making use of the watch will help me stay focus and also determine to pursue my goal with all that I have in me and that is why I pick this very gift.
